We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

Serve as Project Manager responsible for the non-technology oversight and management of assigned systems in the NHLBI Portfolio, including NHLBI Tracking Requests and Correspondence (TRAC) system and the NHLBI intranet.
•Communicate with Senior Leadership and Institute staff regarding assigned systems based on NHLBI vision.
•Serve as a super user responsible for que monitoring; work with end-users on cleanup of dormant actions in systems; ensure currency of information contained within assigned systems.
•Work with end-users to more effectively utilize systems; ensure that available system ca-pabilities are being utilized to the fullest potential based on understanding of existing ca-pabilities and business practices.
•Perform rollout; prepare materials and content for training and change management activi-ties.
•Pull periodic reports and provide to key stakeholders; facilitate corrections as needed.
oLead focus groups of TRAC end users to identify new system requirements and best practices used to determine prioritization of future enhancements in support of staff needs.
oProvide input into focus of the TRAC Executive Council when meetings are con-vened
oWork with the TRAC development Team to ensure that the system meets the In-stitute’s business needs.
oMaintain suggested routing paths and memo templates for certain TRAC subtypes.
oWork with Division points of contact to publish information within the available Intranet content types.
oEnsure that NHLBI Intranet authoring best practices are adhered to regarding ti-tle, information in the body of the content, keywords and topics.
oEnsure that information is properly published from a process standpoint; use web content system to publish information in a way that supports search ability and currency of information by content owners.
oWork with points of contact to develop and maintain a matrix of content, content owners, maintenance frequency and process for ensuring that intranet pages are current, relevant and ensure quality and uniformity to content posted.
oWork with points of contact to ensure periodic review of content; fix broken links; remove outdated content; analyze number of hits to ascertain if content is still rel-evant to the Institute; remove content owners no longer at NHLBI.
•OM Intranet Content
oWork with staff on content approval; proactively monitor for and resolve dorman-cy of content.
oWork with executive oversight to finalize and maintain a matrix of content, con-tent owners, maintenance frequency and process for ensuring that OM Intranet is current and relevant.
oWork with content owners and executive oversight to review content; ensure proper tagging and meta-data; post content on scheduled basis.
oEnsure that OM Intranet site complies with best practices in regard to title, infor-mation in the body of the content, key works, use of SharePoint as appropriate for linking to dynamic content; create SharePoint site(s) as needed to store relevant content.
•Master’s degree in a related discipline; two (2) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Master’s degree.
•Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
•Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Experience working within and managing high priority systems.
•Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
•Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
