Job Description:
 Provides expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Recognized as technical leader and resource. Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Responsible for all internal activities and product development. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager. Requires Bachelor's Degree in engineering and 10+ years or Master’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Required Skills:
o Analyze DSCOVR antenna backup support solutions, 
o Conduct a study and recommend Sustainment Plans for existing antenna assets at Wallops Island VA, Fairbanks AK, NSOF/Suitland MD, and the GOES backup antenna at NASA Goddard Greenbelt MD; that will allow PETD to support requests for non-NOAA and commercial satellite antennas, and recommend strategies for eliminating RF interference affecting operations.
