Job Description:
• Will be responsible for assembling several models of the MMO, including a fully functional (except for propellant) “table top” or “flatsat” model and one (and possibly two) flight units.
• Will work closely with the subsystem engineers in understanding the testing of the sub-systems, from acceptance testing through calibration to system level testing after Space Craft integration.
• Will be responsible for assembling and maintaining the ground support equipment.
• Will be responsible for implementation of environmental test plans, the development of which will be in coordination with the MMO Spacecraft Lead Engineer and Deputy Project Manager, the Spacecraft Vehicle Lead Engineer, and the Project Systems Engineer.
• C & DH = Computer and Data Handling
• ACS/RCS = Attitude Control/ Reaction Control Subsystems
• S/C = Space Craft

Required Skills:
• University degree in relevant engineering disciplines (includes electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering)
• Advanced degree and/or equivalent industry experience in relevant disciplines
• Expertise and/or experience with real life small satellite flight systems (not power points)
• Expertise and/or experience with development of systems using modern engineering components and processes
• Other Desires
• Enthusiasm, interest, and potentially experience in real small spacecraft missions
• Enthusiasm, interest, and potentially experience in deep space missions
