Provide a Systems Analyst who shall be a member of the JPL 172M Collaboration and Engineering Platform Development and Analysis group, reporting to the Group Supervisor. The Systems Analyst shall provide technical, functional and engineering support forJPL’s Electrical Computer Aided Engineering (ECAE) software tools and ECAE infrastructure. ECAE service offerings include Electronic component libraries, licensing and integration with JPL’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system using Siemens Teamcenter. Responsibilities:
-Support of Engineers using any components of the ECAE infrastructure (e.g., software tools, libraries, etc.).
-Support of electronic component libraries for schematic capture and Printed Circuit board (PCB) programs.
-Support of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool integration with Siemens Teamcenter product.
-Maintain consistent versions of the tools being provided.
-Installation of ECAE tools based on JPL install packages.
-Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current ECAE application portfolio and the technical needs of project and functional end-users.
-Collaborate with personnel supporting other CAE disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Systems, and software).
-Involvement in the development of new capabilities and enhancements to the existing ECAE infrastructure (e.g., development of new component libraries).
-Involvement in work flows and processes governing the use of the ECAE infrastructure.
-Provide hands-on user support for various software tools.
-Perform root cause analysis, debugging problems within the CAE environment and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
-Monitor, address, and resolve production ECAE environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc., collaboratively with other support teams.
-Work with personnel within the group to maintain current and relevant licenses.
-Develop and maintain user and technical manuals and guidelines.
-Provide demos to users as required.
-Support classroom training for various tools, on an as-needed basis.

-Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline or Computer Science (or related field) and at least 4 years of experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering Discipline or Computer Science (or related field) with at least 2 years of experience, or a Ph.2 with 1 year experience. Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics preferred.
-Experience using various Electronic design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, Cadence, Altium, etc.).
-Experience with licensing software (e.g., Flexlm, Reprise, sentinel).
-Experience with Teamcenter and integration of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics).
-Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
-Knowledge of Laboratory policies and procedures, NASA policies and procedures, and government regulations across a range of applications.
-Knowledge of Electronic design processes for; Digital and Analog Circuit design, Printed Circuit boards, FPGA / ASIC design, and RF and EM design
-Proficient with ECAD Tools (Altium, Mentor Expedition, Capital Harness, Synopsys, Mentor Questa, etc.)
-Familiarity and/or experience with parts data and library management as well as an understanding of electrical design process.
-Experience using and developing connections utilizing ECAE tools and Siemens Teamcenter -User and developer experience with workflows within Siemens Teamcenter
-Understanding of enterprise application principles, theories, concepts and techniques in Project Management, Requirements Gathering, User Acceptance, Software implementation and validation, and/or Production System roll-out
-Able to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
-Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively capturing and communicating technical information at all levels.
-Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality.
-Product delivery experience interfacing with sponsors, stakeholders, process owners, and users. -Experience with large data systems utilized by Engineering organizations.
