Job Description:
Experienced in design and deployment of VTC on a large scale utilizing latest technologies to bring the optimal user experience for collaboration.  Working knowledge of Crestron and Crestron Toolbox, Extron and Polycom/Life-size hardware.  Experience with conference room design and buildouts.  Responsible for installing, diagnosing and repair of audio and video conferencing equipment including mounting projectors, running cables through conduit and ceilings, terminating and soldering cables and connectors.  Broad knowledge of various projectors, touch screens, networking protocols, and video conferencing standards.Performing a wide variety of conference room buildouts and support of existing conference rooms, using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes customer’s requirements for special projects and make recommendations using leading edge technology.  Leads and mentor others.  Develops and/or modify standard operating procedures to requirements. 

Required Skills:
•BS Degree from a 4-year college/university
•Up to 5 years’ experience supporting:
oSystem design development consultation and project engineering
oVideo Conferencing
oWebEx, Jabber, Lync, Adobe Connect
oCrestron Toolbox
oNetworking Systems
Technical Certifications:
•Extron Certification
•AV Associate Certification

Other Requirements:
•Valid California Driver’s License – This position may require driving on JPL site.
•Ability to comfortably lift and carry up to 50+lbs.
•Legally allowed to work in the US as verified by e-Verify. 
•US Citizen – Existing staff with valid JPL badges exempt. 
•Strong dedication to customer service, excellent verbal/written communications skills
•Experience using call management systems and trouble ticket systems (BMC Remedy, etc.)
