We are currently seeking a Biostatistician to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

•Work with extramural program officers and principal investigators to review clinical study designs and analytic plans prior to implementation; provide written comments; participate in meetings with scientific colleagues in NCCIH and extramural investigators.
•Provide additional support for studies after project initiations, including written correspondence and meetings with scientific colleagues and other investigators.
•Develop new statistical methods for the solution of problems arising from the consultative and collaborative activities.
•Collaborate with intramural and extramural scientists in the planning, conduct and/or analysis of clinical and laboratory investigations.
•Collaborate with staff on experimental design, conduct and data analysis for NCCIH clinical trials, epidemiological studies and other programs.
•Document methodological approaches to data analyses performed, including detailed procedures and rationale.
•Prepare data and analysis for presentation to staff.
•Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related discipline.
•Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.
•Minimum of two (2) years of experience with clinical trials.
•Demonstrated knowledge of statistical and data management tools and software packages.
•Knowledge of statistical methods and procedures.
•Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
•Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
