Looking for a system administrator to provided desktop/laptop (both PC and Apple) and videoconference services.

Responsibilities include but not limited too:
  • IT support during formal Laboratory, Project and HQ reviews (e.g. WebEx, videoconference, teleconference, JPL Guest Access for external reviewers, etc.), including pre-conference connectivity testing with participating locations
  • Desktop/laptop/MS Surface/iPad/printers/scanners/fax IT hardware/software functionality, maintenance, migration and troubleshooting (Windows and MacIntosh  operating systems).
  • HELP Desk coordination and facilitating/expediting/technical-interface/elevation of troubleshooting requests. 
  • Application debugging.
  • Data recovery, software upgrades, hardware replenishments.
  • Development of specifications and supporting documentation for requesting provision of non-“supported” list hardware/software.
  • Evaluation of and recommendation of potential COTS software.
  • Recommendation of ‘supported list’ hardware/software for individual users.
  • Launch Approval Engineering Office (LAEO) Information Resource Center (IRC) technical support. 
BS Degree and 7+ years of experience preferred.
