Job Description:
•Configure Ground Control Station Laptops and update configuration procedures.
•Configure Ground Control Station applications, including mission planning software and training simulators.
•Develop new configuration management procedures.
•Back-up computer images and re-image computers for delivery.
•Organize test equipment and perform documented test procedures on Ground Control system components.
•Assist in the development of engineering and manufacturing test procedures for Ground Control system components.
•Support the Product Engineering group with sustaining engineering support activities, including the release and update of engineering design documentation, bill of materials, manufacturing procedures, product acceptance test procedures, and production tooling and test equipment.

Required Skills:
•HS Diploma or an AA/AS or Certificate from a technical trade school in area of expertise.
•BS preferred.
•5+ years progressive technical experience.
•Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot the Windows Operating System from recovery discs as well as building from scratch and configure various versions on different computer hardware (laptops and tablets) configurations.
•Familiarity with the Android operating system, including installing and running Apps.
•Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
•Ability to modify Windows and Android settings, install off-the-shelf and custom software applications and device drivers, and test laptop and tablet configurations prior to delivery.
•Ability to edit the Windows Registry and create batch files.
•Able to effectively communicate with others to troubleshoot and provide instructions.
•Technical writing skills for creating and updating laptop and tablet configuration and test procedures.
•Organized, thorough, and strong attention to detail.
•Strong understanding of configuration management principles.
•Demonstrated ability to integrate across technical disciplines and organizations, including program management, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers and customers.
