Job Description:
Seeking a Development Project Manager to help lead multiple IT infrastructure projects and coordinate deliverables. Responsible for planning, execution and delivery of IT infrastructure products in support of JPL Flight Projects. Leads development of enabling technologies.  Accountable for all day-to-day technical and programmatic leadership at any point in a project's lifecycle from conception through development and implementation.  The ideal candidate will have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills; experience working with cross-functional departments; experience with schedule creation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
•Develop project plans and manage critical tasks, and dependencies to determine project schedule utilizing necessary hardware, software, and resources.
•Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
•Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
•Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
•Ensure resource availability and allocation.
•Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
•Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
•Report and escalate to management as needed.
•Manage the relationship with customers and all stakeholders.
•Perform risk management to minimize development project risks.
•Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•8+ years work experience and knowledge managing projects with examples of successful implementation.
•Excellent stakeholder and internal communication skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
•Manage development project plans and critical tasks, and dependencies to determine project schedule utilizing necessary hardware, software, and resources.
•Strong development and management background (requirements, development, application management, maintenance, operations).  
•Experience in supporting JPL Flight Projects for IT infrastructure needs.
•Vendor/Contract Management experience: Managing multiple vendors and internal resources across work streams simultaneously.
•Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style.
