Job Description:
As a Communications Administrator in the Europa Science Office, will assist the Europa Clipper Project Scientist and Project Science team (Deputy Project Scientists, Science Office Manager, and Investigation Scientists) in carrying out their assigned tasks. Will be engaged in a variety of tasks pertinent to scientific research, publications, planning, and communications by the Europa Clipper mission's Project Scientist and Project Science team. The tasks include but are not limited to assembling and maintaining a publication archive for the Europa Clipper mission, including conference abstracts and journal papers by the distributed Europa Clipper Science Team. Will perform tracking and updating of Project Science presentations to the science community and to the general public. Will capture, maintain, and update a schedule of Project Science action items and deadlines. Will conduct occasional Europa Clipper science presentations to the general public. Will assist the JPL Europa Clipper Project Science team in communicating and coordinating the technical needs of the distributed members of the Europa Clipper Science Team. Will assist coordination of meetings of the Europa Clipper Science Team, both virtual and in person, including coordination of science meeting agendas and technical presentations. 

Required Skills:
-Typically requires a High School diploma with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, Associates degree with 4 years of related experience, or Bachelors with 1 year of related experience. 
-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Must be able to communicate well, in written and oral forms.

Desired Skills:
-Basic scientific understanding of Jupiter's moon Europa and the Europa Clipper mission. 
-Experience in communicating planetary science to the public. 
-Experience in organizing workshops and meetings, virtual and in person. 
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator is a plus.
