Job Description:
JPL Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking a new team member to develop and support web and mobile applications. If you imagine yourself working with a team of dedicated and passionate software developers who challenges you to engineer elegant solutions for complex business problems, while creating the best web applications that will help push the boundaries of science and engineering, we want you.
Specific responsibilities include: 1) be the front-end developer and assistant task lead for new research proposal submission and management application 2) provide sustaining for suite of 10 web applications 3) support customers on legacy applications and plan transition with updated user requirements 4) be a customer liaison and project manager for custom collaboration service

Required Skills:
-Minimum 7 years of experience developing Web-applications and/or leading teams that develop Web applications 
-Experience with project management 
-Experienced in multi-layered software application architecture 
-Experienced in software application design patterns and principles Experience with web front end technologies: JavaScript, AngularJS, Polymer, React 
-Proficient with web based technologies: HTML, CSS and XML 
-Minimum 7 years experience in engineering software products used in large information systems and enterprise IT environments 

Desired Skills:
-Experience developing, consuming and enabling RESTful APIs and the use of JSON data interchange messaging 
-Experience with Cold Fusion 
-Experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking systems 
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment in multiple roles 
-Experience with Git/GitHub use and integration 
-Experience with Cloud Computing Services
