Job Description:
Performs testing and characterization of Radio Frequency (RF) space-flight hardware in support of the RIME and REASON Instruments. Assist in the operation of RF lab equipment to test and validate EM and flight hardware and perform data analysis. Formulates recommendations on routine technical problems with limited guidance. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Conducting testing of RF engineering modules and space-flight hardware.
2. Develop test plans and procedures.
3. Assumes lead in evaluating/modifying existing ground support equipment.
4. Performs analysis of data from RF tests and prepares reports and presentations
5. Maintains files/records/operational data related to hardware.
6. Support and participate as part of JPL team to successfully complete the RIME and REASON instrument test campaigns over the next 12 months.

Required Skills:
1. Write and edit assembly and board level test procedures (PBATs)
2. Write and edit assembly procedures (IBATs)
3. Experience operating standard RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, noise figure meters, etc
4. Assist with hardware integration and testing

Desired Skills:
1. Experience working with space-flight hardware in a clean-room environment
2. Self-starter with experience working with little supervision.
