Roles and responsibilities

16 month contract position
W2 with full benefits

Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; Masters degree in similar disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
•5+ years of experience working with SharePoint as a super user or admin
•Configure and support the day-to-day application management tasks such as trouble-shooting and performance tuning
•Install and maintain Plug-ins, Features, Web parts, Templates and custom software.
•Work with developers to deploy custom applications and solutions to meet the requirements of users
•Communicate effectively with colleagues and and technology team members in support of SharePoint environment planning, deployment, and operational support
•Work independently and as contributing member of a team
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Experience and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
•Ability to adapt to changing requirements and a dynamic environment
•Customer service focus and desire to help others and solve problems

Desired Skills:
•Experience with workflows
•Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation/management tools
•Experience with custom form development
•Experience with SharePoint integration within Microsoft Office
•Experience with SQL Server
•Knowledge of .NET, C#, and SharePoint development
•Microsoft certifications (MSCE, MCTS, MCITP, etc.)
•Experience working with scientists and/or a science background.
•IT Operational Customer-service background.
