Job Description:
This position is for a Change and Process Coordinator on the ESA IV program. ESA IV is an IT Services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice. The program provides a range of IT services, including help desk, deskside support, Windows workstation engineering and maintenance, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory services, and video conferencing, among others.

The individual selected for this position will facilitate and manage the customers Change Management process. Under the supervision of the government’s Change Control Board (CCB) Chairperson, the individual in this position will:
- Define, update, and apply change management processes, procedures, and tools to support the adoption of changes required by the organization
- Plan, schedule, co‐ordinate and manage end‐to‐end movement of all Changes through the development lifecycle to the production environment.
- Act as POC for Change communication, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of high‐level and product‐specific planning, scheduling coordination, and communication of Changes
- Coordinate all aspects of the CCB, including preparation of the agenda, minutes, and verification of System Change Request (SCR) packages.
- Identify potential risks and conflicts prior to a deployment and ensure that all necessary checks are carried out before presentation to the CCB.
- Champion Service and Delivery Management processes and ensure that delivery principles and processes are established and followed.
- Review status of approved SCRs until all work and modifications have been made.
- Review other matters, including review of status of changes considered and the regular meeting schedule, at the CCB Chairperson’s discretion.
- Assemble and distribute records and reports
- Coordinate and provide all required documentation related to SCRs under consideration by the CCB in accordance with what they require for change qualification and evaluation, as outlined in applicable SOPs.
- Track changes of all categories throughout the Change Management process using the appropriate automated Change Management tools.
- Create and manage all reports related to Change and Configuration Management.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure appropriate changes are completed during the maintenance window.
- Identify potential deviations in performance from the change and/or change standards, and implement or recommend corrective actions.
- Develop documentation to include, but not limited to: SCR forms, user and security checklist, changes packages, status account, and reporting metrics, etc.
- Maintain an automated public archive and document management tool (SharePoint) for Change and Configuration Management.
- Provide input and document requirements, supporting the design and delivery of training programs related to change and Configuration Management.
- Coach managers, supervisors, and project teams in Change Management Process and use of best practices.
- Work with Project Managers to integrate Change Management activities into project plans.
- Track and report issues related to Change Management process and tools.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
- Support Change Management at the organizational level.

The Change and Process coordinator will be assigned to work full time at a customer site in Washington, DC. The individual selected for this position will assist a full-time government staff member in providing support to the Division.

The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate, and will focus on making sure that the customer’s IT needs are met quickly and effectively. He or she will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers on site and with staff in the main office in Washington, DC.

The individual selected for this position must successful complete a security investigation by the government.

Required Skills:
- Four years or more of IT Change Management Managerial experience
- One year of experience with ITSM tools such as Service Now or Remedy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to multitask and function in a quick-paced environment.

Desired Skills:
- Past experience with the Department of Justice
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
