Job Description:
•Coordinate preparation and logistics for the onboarding and offboarding of NIMH federal employees, contractors, special volunteers, detailees and students by collaborating with candidate’s immediate supervisor via the Information Technology (IT); Space and Facilities, Ethics, Human Resources, Executive Office, Benefits and Payroll.
•Coordinate and facilitate the NIMH New Employee Welcome Program and individual orientation plans to establish expectations, and to provide ongoing support to new team members.
•Serve as the Business Owner for the design and implementation of the NIMH New Employee Onboarding Form in BP Logix.
•Facilitate the development, management and implementation of electronic Performance Management Appraisal Program (ePMAP) of all staff, including Senior Executives, at the NIMH and NIH level.
•Provide training and guidance to supervisors and employees on the PMAP cycle from timelines of closure.
•Work with staff to lead meetings with business developers to improve the recently launched NIMH ePMAP form in BP Logix.
•Perform HHS PMAP audits.
•Coordinate the Title 42 Spring Increase for eligible Senior Staff.
•Review and ensure that NIMH Staff Directory content is accurate.
•Serve as a back-up for the HR Liaison in reviewing and updating the content of the NIMH Central Users Directory (NCUD).
•Update the NIMH Organizational and Position Management Charts on a monthly basis.
•Ensure that NIMH Position Management charts are uploaded to the NIMH Office of the Director Dashboard monthly.
•Update and maintain the NIMH Personnel List on a biweekly basis utilizing various NIH Human Resources administrative databases.
•Work with the NIMH Budget Office on NIH data calls such as the FY RMS Census Re-port.
•Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve policies and processes.
•Contribute to bi-weekly NIMH Human Resources Activities conference calls.
•Work with staff on the planning of the NIMH Director’s Award Ceremony.
•Foster and enhance professional relationships with partners trans-NIH.
•Summarize the content of incoming materials, specially gathered information, or meeting notes; coordinate the new information with background office sources; draw attention to important parts or conflicts.


Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
•Minimum of three (3) years of related management experience.
•Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
•Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
