Job Description:
Columbus Technologies and Services, Inc., headquartered in El Segundo, California with locations throughout the country, is looking for a Junior level Contracts Administrator to support the corporate Contracts oversight function in our Greenbelt, MD facility.  We are dedicated to customer satisfaction and provide high quality support in the areas of Information Technology, Software, Science, Engineering, and Health Professional services.

At a high level, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct contract support to a multitude of functions. These will include: a) review of contractual documents to ensure satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies b) assisting in continued contract performance by monitoring budget, compliance documents, schedules, deliverables, c) assisting to administer, extend, and negotiate/closeout various contracts and subcontracts, d) support proposal preparation efforts, and contract administration.

This position will be multi-faceted.  The right candidate will offer 1-3 years of general contract experience and possess the acumen and desire to learn quickly, grow with a growing firm, and be eager to take on a wide range of contracts related support activities.  Critical to this position is also a working knowledge of Costpoint.  This position specifically supports the Lead Contracts function by supporting the following activities:
•Federal and commercial Contracts life cycle;
•Non-Disclosure, Professional Services, Teaming, Subcontract, and related agreements;
•Subcontractor contractual performance;
•Data entry and manipulation within Costpoint, our accounting system;
•Monitoring contract backlog and at-risk factors for sound contract status
•Contract financial and metric reporting;
•Contract technical, schedule, cost, and deliverable performance
•Contract compliance (DCAA, FAR, DFAR, FAMS, and related specific agency clauses that drive services delivery);
•Support IDIQ maintenance and Task Order pipeline analyses; and
•Enforcement of contract administration policies and procedures.

Required Skills:
•Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
•Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or extensive, relevant experience in lieu of stated education requirement.
•1-3 years of Government contract administration experience
•Experience with Costpoint
•Demonstrated ability to provide sound judgment supporting all elements of conventional contract administration activities
•Ability to effectively interface with all levels of corporate and customer staff through solid verbal and written communication skills
