18 month contract position
W2 with full benefits
Customer and contract specific training will be required and provided.
Must be able to travel
•Process large datasets to update the inflight calibration parameters of OCO-2 and OCO-3.
•Determine trends in calibration lamp output and compare satellite measurements to other datasets to track changes in gain over time.
•Develop and validate algorithms to identify outliers and remove fixed patterns from Level 1 data.
•Create new data analysis algorithms.
•Perform sensitivity studies to assess the impact of calibration errors on higher level products.
•Make updates to inflight calibration parameters.
•Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
•Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
•An advanced engineering or science degree
•Experience in calibration and characterization of remote sensing instruments
•Development of data processing algorithms
•Data analysis and visualization for Level 1A and Level 1B Earth Science products
