10 month contract position
W2 with full benefits
Customer and contract specific training will be required and provided.
Will be responsible for assisting the project staff assistants to ensure all office requirements are met. Will assist with calendars, arranging travel, scheduling meetings, and arranging conference rooms. Will arrange programmatic and conference travel, both domestic and foreign. Will assist with developing and preparing review presentation materials for conferences, reports and senior management reviews/meetings. Will provide additional support to the project offices that include answering phones, sorting mail, obtaining visitor clearances, ordering supplies, and other adhoc assignments as required.
•Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
•Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
•Understanding of both general and detailed aspects of job and work techniques in office administration, providing office support to senior managers; as well as practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered in a dynamic office environment.
•Understanding of the office administration profession and applies knowledge and skills in this area; understanding of applicable policies, procedures, and practices.
•Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills; requires a self-starter that is capable of prioritizing work assignments with the ability to work on multiple assignments.
•Ability to interface effectively with all levels of personnel and management across multiple organizations.
•General knowledge of the JPL organization and JPL’s policies and procedures, including travel and timekeeping practices. Demonstrated experience managing multiple calendars for senior managers.
