Job Description:
•Assist the Branch Chief with budget formulation, oversite and reporting for the FSOB.
•Manage "drawdown" ledgers regarding handyman services as requested of NIH ORF via
the 5601 Fishers Lane property owner's management company.
•Ensure that line-items set aside for various contract actions follow appropriate "burn
rates" over the period of performance for every contract action, or task order action, as an
assist to the Branch Chief and the CORs involved.
•Develop cost models and other financial analytical functions to determine various costs
per units, such as cost/square feet; costs per reoccurring task; or costs per person on select
•Determine if such cost models and indicators could be converted to key performance indicators to assist FSOB with greater awareness of their functions and related costs structures.
•Support the FSOB Branch chief with assurance that the processes of formulation offinancial
requests to include completeness of scopes of work, accuracy of government cost
estimates, and supporting materials are in good order prior to Branch Chief Review.
•Track contract actions via time frames internal to the OWS processes and monitor the
timeframes needed to produce the required paperwork.
•Assist with review of work schedules from the standpoint of quality assurance and appropriate oversight of various supporting contracts which assist the FSOB advance their
work tasks.
•Review Tableau metrics on a weekly basis and determine trends and related considerations
in support ofFSOB Branch Chief to ensure effective work distribution and sustained productivity.
•Participate in special projects that benefit both FSOB and OWS as called upon by the
FSOB Branch Chief, or in support of the larger OWS set of requirements.
•Develop and maintain a master project schedule. Includes regular meetings with OWS
staff to gather the required information.
•Review and possible grammar edit scopes of work, and related documents that support
FSOB needs.
•All deliverable shall be saved in the NIAID ORO FSOB folder on our shared drive.

Required Skills:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline. Four (4) years of specialized
experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a BAiBS degree.
•Five (5) years of experience in contracts/grants management or a related field.
•Demonstrates the ability to assess contract processes and procedures.
