Job Description:
Provide an individual who is TS/SCI cleared and will function as an Enterprise Applications Developer to provide holistic IT applications support in a heterogeneous environment with a high focus on systems security.  The Enterprise Applications Developer will be responsible for resolving daily support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands and will support and develop software for a wide array of institutional tools and applications.  This member will join and contribute to a technical team using agile development methodologies in order to write, test, and deploy software applications, and provide supporting documentation and/or procedures for development and operations.  The position utilizes knowledge of scalable and modular systems to develop system architectures and contribute to technical planning and decision making. This position will work within the applications support group and will supplement staff on the projects and engineering team as needed. 

Required Skills:
• The candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• A United States Government administered polygraph examination will be given to the selected candidate; he/she must pass it to maintain employment in this position
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• The Enterprise Application Developer will Possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance
• Develop highly performant web applications on distributed system environments
• Build and architect scalable enterprise applications and data aggregation systems
• Enhance asset functionality and readiness by leveraging experience in Python, Javascript, SQL, HTML/CSS
• Build software applications in Linux/UNIX/Windows environments
• Maintain, build, and enhance web applications utilizing frameworks such as Python-Django, React, and Angular
• Build on knowledge in utilizing Restful web services frameworks and provide implementation techniques for the internal environment
• Leverage Git/GitHub for application build, integration and, full documentation
• Take part in providing applications and systems support consultation to Software and Systems Engineering teams and efforts
• Possess a DoD 8570 certification baseline. Minimum of Security+
• Utilize Amazon cloud and related products to build and deploy assets: Amazon Web Services, GovCloud, EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, Route 53, ELB, DynamoDB, etc.
• Use JIRA, ZenHub, or similar issue-tracking systems
• Must develop general and technical documentation in support of all software development efforts that pertain to the internal architecture
• Apply knowledge of the principles of test-driven development and continuous integration
• Deploy applications and services by leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Resolves a broad range of technical issues in support of customer requirements with a focus on applications support
• Diagnose, identify, isolate and analyze problems throughout the environment.
• Creates, updates and maintains documentation and standard operating procedures
• Participate as a member on Internal Project Teams performing a variety of computer related activities, idea sharing and problem resolution.
• Provides support outside of daily duties as needed.
• Alerts management to recurring incidents and patterns of problems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project and systems documentation
• Perform applications systems auditing and monitoring of services to ensure compliance and availability of services
• Augment engineering group in support of internal cyber security improvement efforts
• Actively participate in the ongoing efforts to modernize the NSPO IT architecture
