Job Description:
• Broad operational knowledge & experience in the functions of an aviation organization
• Act as liaison between JPL, Armstrong with Aircraft Operations management and NASA Mission Directorate management
• Ensure compliance with NASA Aviation Safety Program, NASA AFRC airworthiness process and NASA aircraft management policies detailed in NPR 7900.3D
• Daily management, administration, security and execution of JPL flight operations
• Ability to monitor corrective actions through Internal Controls and Reporting
• In charge of tracking sUAS inventory.

Required Skills:
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Driving (a government issued vehicle) is required for this position.  Must have a valid California driver’s license, a clean driving record and successfully pass a DMV check.
• Holds a Commercial Pilots license.
• 5 years as an active manned or sUAS pilot
• Background in aircraft operations management and/or engineering with experience managing Commercial Air Services (CAS) contracts or relevant aviation-related experience
• Knowledge of FAA processes and requirements
• Ability to understand and interpret NASA Procedural Requirements
• Must have strong time management skills
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of personnel.
