Job Description:
Looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join the team to provide daily operational support for Linux and Windows servers and systems to solve a wide array of customer needs and requests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Configure and manage Linux operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Provide installation, configuration and ongoing support of network devices.
• Participate on teams in the analysis and design of new large-scale Linux operating systems and/or modifications to existing systems
• Evaluate new system and application requirements regarding impact to the Linux operating system environment.
• Manage the IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices

Required Skills:
• The candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or other related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of Linux experience.
• Overall a minimum of 4 years of experience working in software development, user desktop support, front-line support on mid to large size projects.
• SA Support level 2-3 (Based on years of experience, education, training, etc.)
• Very good understanding of the Linux operating system and practical experience supporting Linux in a work environment. (Preferably RedHat or RedHat derived Linux)
• Knowledge of Containerization on Linux (i.e Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with Virtualization (WMware, Oracle)
• Exposure and knowledge of Cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure)
• Understand and able to troubleshoot Networking (CISCO, Juniper)
• Experience with supporting Windows Platforms
• Able to script in shell or other interpreted language.
• Experience supporting Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity  requirements implementation.
• DOD 8570 Tier II Technical Cert that is current (Security + CE example)
• Excellent user interface / interpersonal / written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a team environment consisting of both internal and external members, co-workers and customer.
• This position requires a U.S. Citizen who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Desired Skills:
• Familiarity working in cleared environments
• Additional IT certifications is a plus
• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Familiarity and experience working with Jira
• Knowledge of DevOps processes (i.e. toolchain workflow automation)
• Knowledge of CM tools (i.e. Docker, Salt, Git)
• Knowledge of SeLinux
• Experience utiltizing DOD Security Technology implementation Guides (STIGS) highly desired.
• Previous experience performing vulnerability scanning and remediation techniques a plus.
