Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Responsible for receiving and maintaining official records.
2. Performs a range of clerical duties including typing, filing, preparation of time records, word processing, and composition of correspondence.
3. Receives visitors, incoming calls, takes messages, arranges appointments, meetings and travel for supervisor and staff.
• Coordination of travel arrangements (local, domestic, and foreign) is a significant/high priority task for this position. Past experience with making travel arrangements in compliance with GSA is highly preferred. Travel coordination includes direct interaction with employees, other contractor reviewers/approvers, and travel outlets (airlines, hotels, car rental), as well as last minute support and revisions as needed, and timely completion of resulting expense reports. Careful attention to detail is an essential requirement.
4. Generates and maintains confidential files and reports.
5. Collects and composes information needed for meetings/reports.
• Coordination of meetings will require media interface setup (Zoom and AirTame) and other technologies to ensure support for remote attendees are included in video conferences.
6. May distribute work to lower level clerical staff.
7. Punctuality and regular attendance is a must
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years secretarial experience including office procedures, word processing,  typing 70+ WPM and spreadsheets required as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have proficient skills with MS Office software tools, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Punctuality and regular attendance are essential to insure optimal productivity and customer service.
• This position requires in-person attendance at weekly meetings with multiple program staff.
• These interactions are sometimes unscheduled, frequent, and necessary to properly perform this position.
• Therefore, the individual holding this position must be readily accessible at the facility on a daily basis.
