Job Description:
Unique opportunity for a multi-disciplined Ground Data Systems Integration & Test System Engineer for Special Programs. You will be a member of the Ground Data Systems (GDS) Integration, Test, & Deployment Group reporting administratively to the Technical Group Supervisor and programmatically to the GDS Manager. As the GDS Integration Systems Engineer, you will support the integration and deployment of the GDS software and hardware. This is a position for an energetic and multi-disciplined ground engineer who is customer-focused, articulate, reacts well to changes, can multi-task, and work well independently and within a team environment.

Will be responsible to:
• Coordinate with customers for schedule and requirement of target system
• Deploy GDS software to target environment
• Integrate the system for target environment checkout
• Document procedures and produce deployment guide
• Smoke check and trouble-shoot any issue.
• Support and participate in the execution of element level mission operations V&V.
• Support and maintains the mission system software and hardware environments. Support program milestones.

Required Skills:
• The candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• A United States Government administered polygraph examination will be given to the selected candidate; he/she must pass it to maintain employment in this position
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Overall 5-10 years of experience working in software development, user desktop support, front-line support on mid to large size projects.
• Has current TS/SCI with polygraph
• Has 3-5 Years of Linux Experience
• Has 1-2 Years of Containerization experience (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Has 2-3 Years of Virtualization Experience (VMware, Oracle)
• Has 1-2 Years of Cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure)
• Has 2-3 Years of Networking experience (CISCO, Juniper)
• Has 2-3 Years of Windows Platform Experience
• Has DOD 8570 Tier II Technical Cert that is current (Security + CE example)
• Has ability to quickly grasp new concepts and incorporate innovations.
• Has excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills required for customer interface.

Desired Skills:
• Familiarity working in cleared environments
• Additional IT certifications is a plus
• Experience working with source control applications and workflow applications such as GitHub and JIRA.
• Experience setup CI/CD pipeline using servers like Jenkins or Bamboo
• Experience in DoD systems engineering lifecycle.
• Knowledge and experience in applicable DoD policies and procedures pertaining to Ground Systems and Mission Operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving software/hardware infrastructure
• Ability to work with multiple customers on premises and remote
