Job Description:
As a team member of IT Special Program you will provide various activities to support critical projects at JPL. You will be required to provide the following:
• Architect systems to ensure overall current and future goals of the overall organization are supported
• Assist and/or maintain communication systems (e.g., SharePoint, JIRA, skype, confluence, slack, e-mail)
• Conduct research to find ways in which to improve operations
• Administer various systems (e.g., closed networks, cloud-based networks, Linux, Windows, VMWare)
• Provide user administration and guidance on supported applications
• Escalate user rights issues and employee setup issues to specialized support
• Document all calls in ticketing systems
• Support customer inbound requests through phone, in-person, field out-calls, self-service and other channels
• Provide accurate and creative solutions to customer problems to ensure quick restoration of customer productivity
• Discern when issues cannot be resolved within a certain timeframe and escalate the incidents to appropriate section personnel
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant environments (software and hardware)
• Interact with various experience levels of users, engineers, program managers and customers to discern requirements

Required Skills:
• The candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• A United States Government administered polygraph examination will be given to the selected candidate; he/she must pass it to maintain employment in this position
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of IT management experience
• Current 8140 Cyber Workforce Management Cert. (examples: A+, Security+, CASP, Cloud+, CISSP)
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (ITIL, ToGAF, DoDAF)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Cloud, Linux, SharePoint, HTML, & JAVA
• Availability to work non-standard hours; early/after hours; nights, weekends as needed
• Available to work both off-site and on-site, in a team environment of internal and external coworkers
• Ability to obtain 8140 IAT Level II/III, IAM Level I/II/III certification within 90 days of start
• In-scope Top Secret clearance w/ability to be SCI briefed at start
• Must be willing to submit to a counter-intelligence (CI) polygraph
