Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced engineer to join the NISAR Verification and Validation (V&V) team. You will report to the 313C group supervisor and work on tasks relating to the V&V of the NISAR mission.

Job responsibilities may include:
• Given a set of requirements and dictionary items to be verified, write a verification plan and procedure for the hardware and software to be tested in the testbed. 
• Assist in execution of the procedure in the testbed
• Conduct a detailed data review and provide a V&V summary of the test execution
• Plan and execute verification analyses of requirements
• Assist in problem investigation, triaging of issues, and resolution coordination
• Assess lower level V&V for technical integrity, completeness, and adherence to V&V requirements.

Required Skills:
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Wide-ranging experience and advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Verification and Validation, System Testbeds, System-level Integration and Test (I&T).
• Knowledge of industry and/or academic practices across a range of applications related to principles, theories, concepts, designs, analyses, and techniques in V&V.
• Experience planning or executing V&V activities on project, flight or payload systems.
• Integration and Test experience with subsystems or flight systems during spacecraft assembly, integration, and test.
• Significant knowledge of the function and operation of spacecraft systems, subsystems, and/or instruments.
• Be a self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Desired Skills:
• Thorough understanding of systems engineering methods and applications as well as V&V processes and products
• Ability to work independently on major project assignments, with accountability for technical performance, budget and schedule
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently
• Experience with development and delivery of system documentation, such as verification documents, test plans, and analyses
