Be a member of the Planning Software Systems Group and will report to the Group Supervisor. Will be a member of the Operations Planning Software team, developing cutting edge applications for operation of robotic systems on Mars, deep space and on Earth, using RESTful services and cloud computing. Will be responsible for developing, upgrading and maintaining visualization software for spacecraft planning and execution.
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related experience; Masters degree in similar disciplines with a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or PhD in similar disciplines.
Experience with one or more frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, React and Reflux
Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS.
Ability to work well in teams
Familiar with WebGL
Familiar with Node.js and associated modules such as Express
Demonstrated experience addressing software performance issues.
Some experience with interfacing with various backend data providers such as NoSQL data sources, Oracle, and/or MySQL data.
Familiar with GitHub and JIRA.
Familiar with the SCRUM process.
Demonstrated ability to develop software architectures and software design materials.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience working in a team of software developers.
