Job Description:
Digital development effort for Mars 2020 Flight Project Integration and Test Task for Terminal Descent Sensor (M2020 TDS I&T):
Will be responsible for leading the reproduction effort for several non-flight digital PCB designs that will be tested and integrated into existing ground support equipment for M2020 TDS I&T. This task involves the design and development of digital control boards containing FPGAs and CPLDs, the release of board drawings for fabrication and assembly, writing new code and/or editing existing code, standalone testing, and system-level integration and testing. Will transition into part of the M2020 TDS test team taking on tasks pertaining to the testing of flight hardware instrumentation,including writing test procedures, calibrating custom ground support equipment, assembly of mechanical ground support equipment, and other tasks as needed.

Required Skills:
• Bachelors degree in EE, or related technical discipline with typically a minimum of 6 years of related experience; Masters degree in similar
disciplines with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or PhD in similar disciplines with a minimum of 2 years related experience
• Digital circuit design and programming with FPGAs and CPLDs
• PCB schematic and layout with Altium Designer
• Digital circuit testing and debugging
• Fundamentals of RF engineering, RF system design, and RF testing
• Flight hardware test support and data analysis
• Support and creation of test plans and reports
• Test equipment operation

Desired Skills:
• Mechanical design and assembly experience (Solidworks / NX)
• Ka-band test equipment operation
• V&V matrix completion
• EGSE design, assembly, test and validation
• Laboratory Certifications
