Job Description:
The candidate will lead activities to design, implement and maintain the monitoring and reporting elements of the overall EMS. Knowledge of HP OpenView products in both Windows and Linux environments is required, as is integration of HPOV monitoring solutions with custom application code. The candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and understand “the big picture”, assist in documenting new and updated processes, plan effectively to complete tasks, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. This position may require some on call support and overtime as well as limited (<20%) travel as required for installation and troubleshooting support at customer locations. An Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret) is required as of day one of employment. US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:
· Minimum 6 years’ experience in development, implementation and support of monitoring and reporting solutions within an EMS suite 
· Specific experience with HP Open View (HPOV) product suite (NNM, OVPM, OML, OMi) 
· Hands on experience with: 
· HPOV Policy Development 
· HPOV Installation and Configuration 
· Linux command line administration 
· Scripting (Bash and Perl) 
· Demonstrated experience implementing system monitoring for infrastructure elements (network, storage, compute) as well as custom applications and MIBs 
· Experience authoring design artifacts and presenting design information at customer reviews 
· Demonstrated experience troubleshooting HPOV in a deployed environment 
· An active US Government Secret clearance US Citizenship required

Education Requirement: B.S./B.A. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering with 6 years of related work experience or a minimum 14 years’ work-related experience in lieu of a degree.
