Job Description:
Performs testing and characterization of Radio Frequency (RF) space-flight hardware in support of the RIME Instrument. Utilizes an extensive background to assist in the operation of RF lab equipment to test and validate flight hardware and perform data analysis of RF hardware. Formulates recommendations on routine technical problems with limited guidance.
US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: 
Conducting testing of RF space-flight hardware. 
Provides engineering support in the development of test plans and procedures. 3. Assumes lead in evaluating/modifying existing ground support equipment. 
Performs analysis of data from RF tests and prepares reports and presentations 
Maintains files/records/operational data related to hardware. 
Performs other duties as assigned. 
Support and participate as part of JPL team to successfully complete the RIME instrument test campaign by May 2018

Required Skills:
4-5 years experience in an RF laboratory environment, conducting testing of RF hardware 
Experience operating standard RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, noise figure meters, etc 
Experience writing test plans/procedures to verify requirements. 
Bachelors + 5 yrs experience or equivalent 
Matlab experience 

Desired Skills:
Experience working with space-flight hardware in a clean-room environment 
Self-starter with experience working with little supervision
