Job Description:
Interface with project planning personnel to incorporate project’s major events and requirements into DSN midrange schedule allocations. Compile and validate user support requirements and supporting information such as view periods and major events. Use the RAPSO process to allocate user requirements for optimization of science data return and to optimize DSN resource utilization.

• Adopts and adheres to the RAR project management schedule to ensure timely and quality completion of the RAR product to the customer.
• Adheres to the RAR Value Stream Map (VSM) process cycle efficiency objectives.
• Participate in the generation of long range special studies, reports, network load impact analyses, and presentations as required to be used as management tools for DSN conflict resolution and resource assessment. 
• Actively participate in the RAPSO DSN long range conflict resolution and analysis for the semi-annual Resource Allocation Review Board and participates in the preparation and generation of the RAPSO Long Range Plan.
• If needed, assist with generating the midrange schedules, participate in schedule conflict negotiation meetings, process schedule change requests as received, and identify resource conflicts. 
• As requested, monitor resource utilization per Project and ensure defined requirements are kept current and adhered to. 
• As assigned, participates in resource downtime tasks such as monthly meetings, distribution and website posting of meeting minutes, proposing timeframes to Project Schedulers to obtain downtime in schedules, and following up with downtime engineers regarding requested tasks. 
Support operational testing and training of new RAP related software, software tool documentation, and evaluation of software adequacy as necessary. Coordinate, investigate and document software or procedures which may enhance the allocation process and data exchange efficiency.

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in either of the following:
•Computer Science
•Electrical Engineering
•Mathematics
•Statistics or related field
•Earth and Planetary Sciences
Highly Proficient in SQL Database,
Webpage Management, Database Management, Excel
Proficient in Microsoft
Word, Power Point, HTML, FrontPage, Visual Basic
Written
and Oral Communication Skills
The successful candidate will have aforementioned Skills and be highly motivated and disciplined to work and function with a minimum of supervision.  
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in being part of the team that is using robotic spacecraft and highly advanced communication technologies and systems that are being used to enable exploration of the Universe
The successful candidate will be excited to be part of the NASA/JPL/Deep Space Network  team
