Job Description:
The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will work with other team members and/or customers in an integrated team on projects for the purposes of designing, integrating and testing mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware for space motion control systems and related electromechanical systems currently under development. 
 Responsible for the design, test, and integration of mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware for ground and space based motion control systems. 
 Roles may include: 
 Mechanical design  
 Electro-mechanical hardware integration 
 Electro-mechanical hardware testing  
 Prepares and presents status and design review packages for internal and external customers

Required Skills:
 BS in Mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent experience  
 5+ years experience 
 Excellent writing, documentation, and presentation skills 
 Preferred experience and knowledge in: 
 Space mechanism design, integration and testing 
 Space structures design 
 Bearing analysis 
 GD&T 
 Solidworks and Solidwork Simulation Tools 
 Motor and gear systems design and analysis for space flight applications  
 “Hands on” hardware experience  
 Delivering space flight systems  
 Microsoft Office experience
 Self-motivated, independent thinker that can tackle problems without direction  
 Enjoys dynamic, fast-paced work environment  
 Enjoys a variety of program types, customers and deliverables 
 Detailed mechanical, mechanism and structural design of space motion control systems 
 Plan and execute testing of electro-mechanical systems and subsystems
