Job Description:
Seeking a software development engineer in test to support the verification and validation of products and systems in support of NASA JPL's Europa Clipper mission. The engineer must have the ability to:
- build test automation solutions for functional, regression, interface and performance testing
- write code for product quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code
- design, implement, and deploy test environments, test frameworks, and CI workflows
- design and implement tests for product and system scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance
- debug and root-cause complex problems and issues found in products/systems
- write quality test documents and reports
- communicate well with customers on troubleshooting tasks and training

Required Skills:
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
- The following are required skills and attributes:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience testing web application and REST APIs
• Experience with DevOPS and CI tools such as Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, etc.
• Experience using Python, Golang, and/or Javascript
• Experience using test frameworks and tools such as Robot, Selenium, and others
• Experience using cloud services such as AWS

Desired Skills:
• Experience with cybersecurity testing
• with docker container and puppet deployment
• Knowledgeable of test management practices, including identification and interpretation of test metrics
• Knowledge of software test management tool (such as TestRail, qTest) with understanding of best practices
