Job Description:
- Responsible for IT admin, management, and support of dynamic/static, linear/nonlinear CAE analysis tools, such as: Simcenter, Nastran, MSC Nastran, HyperWorks, Optistruct, Abaqus, Adams, LS-DYNA, Simcenter 3D Pre/Post
- Work closely with the Engineering org (including the Engineering Project Manager, Engineering PLM Lead, and multiple Engineering Stakeholders) and IT org (including product manager, development/configuration team, helpdesk/support team, infrastructure/operations team, and line managers)
- Support classroom training for various topics in CAE Analysis, on an as-needed basis
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current CAE application portfolio and the technical needs of project and functional endusers
- Perform root cause analysis, debugging problems within the CAE environment and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
- Monitor, address, and resolve production CAE environment incidents, service requests, client install packages, etc.
- Provide demos, presentations, and training to users
- Provide leadership in the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with developers, stakeholders, and customers
- Lead tasks for the implementation of new solutions, improvements to existing solutions, and general maintenance
- Provide technical consultancy to product owners and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain user and technical manuals and guidelines
- Excellent communication to effectively work with internal and external teams to accomplish goals.
- Help establish best practices and reinforce standards.
- Proven track record in project management and delivery.
- Travel to client site required.

Required Skills:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with at least 8 years of experience, and with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing.
- Extensive understanding in CAE Analysis structural, thermal, FEM Software such as: Simcenter, Nastran, MSC Nastran, HyperWorks, Optistruct, Abaqus, Adams, LS-DYNA, Simcenter 3D Pre/Post
- Excellent IT Skills with installing CAE software, setup user environments, and supporting analysis engineers
- MUST be advanced Linux user SUSE and CentOS
- Windows Scripting and Administration a plus
- MUST be familiar with one queuing software SLURM, PBS Professional
- Understand and Configure software for High Performance Computing Clusters

Desired Skills:
- Migrating CAE Analysis compute to virtualized and high performance computing environments
- Siemens NX Modelling Skills a plus
- Agile Software Development using Jira for tracking issues and resolutions
- End-user support using ServiceNow helpdesk system
- Source-code Control and Configuration Management using GitHub
